In the novel, there is a theme of evil and how it manifests in a number of ways, such as the head of the pig which is lord of the flies. It is the spiritof evil that make simon to be brutally killed and it also murder of piggy by Roger and endless attempts on ralph's life.Evil made the boys to perpetrate all kinds of evil desires when they had a life time opportunity to close to nature.
Another theme is theme of fear because the boys became enslave to fear that begin to imagine all kinds of things like the beast.Simon died as a result of fear by the boys who imagined simon to be the beast and mistakenly killed him.Jack benefit from this fear in the sense that he takes undue advantage ofthe boy's fear and formed his own group.
